In the 1970s, he danced, acted, and sang with Promised Valley Theater in Salt Lake City, Utah. One of his favorite roles was the ‘Grand Inquisitor’ in ‘Candide’ at the University of Utah.

Locally, he played a variety of roles in “The Addams Family Musical,” portrayed Drake in “Annie,” and a priest in a production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.” He also took on the role of Howard Cunningham in the “Happy Days Musical” and participated in Gilbert and Sullivan productions with the Light Opera of Portland Theater in various cast parts.

He has also been a part of Northwest Senior Theater for a couple of years, and occasionally makes props and sets for amateur theaters in the area.
