Emma is a classically trained soprano and music historian with degrees from Geneva College and Youngstown State University. Emma made her Pacific Northwest theater debut in Light Opera of Portland’s Ruddigore (2022) in the role of Ruth, and appeared as the First Bridesmaid in LOoP’s 2023 production of Trial by Jury. She is an active recitalist and chorister in the Portland area, a soprano with Cantores in Ecclesia, Co-Artistic Director of Ensemble Boulanger, and Minister of Music at Ascension Episcopal Parish. Emma recently appeared with Portland’s Bach Cantata Choir in the role of historical salonnière Sara Levy in The Musical Salon of Sara Levy, a unique blend of theater, musicology, and concert for which she provided research and wrote the script.
