Auditions
The Light Opera of Portland is a volunteer resident musical repertory company and casts from its membership for leading roles and chorus. You can sign up to be a company member at our production auditions, which will put you on our company announcements mailing list, and give you priority inclusion over non-company members.
We are very excited to announce our upcoming auditions for our spring 2026 production of The Gondoliers!
Auditions will be at 2:30pm on Sunday the 1st of February, also at St Andrews Lutheran. We look forward to seeing you there!
Please prepare the dialogue scene and music for the characters you would like to be considered for. If you are not already a company member, and are interested in auditioning for the chorus, please prepare the Fiametta/Vittoria/Giulia music for sopranos, mezzos, and altos, and the Antonio/Francesco/Giorgio/Annibale music for tenors and basses.
We do not require you to have memorised the audition material.
