Allen is a Portland native and has lived here most of his life. He first became interested in Gilbert and Sullivan when attending Portland’s New Savoy Company Productions at the Oriental Theater in the 1950s. Prior roles in Portland theater include Narrator/Actor 4 in Around the World in 80 Days, President Roosevelt in Annie, and Otis in Suite Surrender. He appreciates the support of his castmates and crewmates, his incredible wife and family, coaches, friends, and many others who know who they are.
